Survey Questions Answered

That it might not be convenient (time and/or locations) and that you might not have all of the products and food items that you currently have (I'm autistic and really struggle with change to my products)

We appreciate that collection times and locations may not suit everyone. That's exactly why we are asking for everyone's feedback now, so we can create collection points and times that work for as many customers as possible.

At the moment check out the Calendar for Septembers locations and times, this will more than likely change for October onward while we find what suits people.

As for food items, we will be no longer providing this service. We will however be continuing all the refills, household items and hygiene products.

You are best to check out the website www.allthingsnatural.ie to see exactly what we will still be stocking

2. Dropping off bottles on one day and collecting them on another day may make it too much trouble than doing it all on one visit ?

The reason for having separate drop-off and collection days is to give us enough time to refill, prepare and package everyone's orders.

This option is only for people who would like to meet at the designated drop off/collection. If you prefer you can come to the unit on the specific days and get your bottles refilled there and then.

This is only early days, and unfortunately this is the best we can do with the situation we are facing at the moment to continue providing a refill option to the people of Sligo and beyond.

3. Ps. I believe there should be a circular economy officer in Sligo Co Council, responsible for supports to businesses that support recycling. Have you had contact with this office? There may be assistance available to support your business.

I have gone to Sligo County Council, Sligo Leader and Local Enterprise looking for help to promote the shop, help with extra marketing but to no avail.

I can take as many courses as available but nothing more really. I was told by the County Council that they would not be allowed to prioritise a single shop over another shop in town, even though our shop would help them achieve their goals for the Climate Action Plan 2024-2029 ?

4. Not ask us to write on labels on bottles. Maybe when we order on website we'd get an order number and then you'd know what we ordered.

What we will ask you to do if ordering online to let us know in the "Additional Information" section where you would like for me to collect your empties from or where you want to collect your order from.

You will not need to write on the bottles but it might be ideal to add a note with instructions of what to put into certain bottles.

5Worried that pre ordering and picking up the refills at certain times only will prolong and complicate the entire shopping experience. Not sure atm how the online shopping shopping works for refills so have doubts about its convenience and efficiency. Obviously, with empties drop off and later collection what had previously taken minutes will now take days, if not weeks.

Keeping the refill service convenient is incredibly important to us, and I don't want customers to feel they're losing something they've enjoyed over the last five years.

There is a few ways you can get your refills.

1. Call to the Unit - You can get your bottles filled up straight away.

2. Meet at the collection/drop of points with your empties and return 2 days later to collect your filled bottles.

3. Drop your empties to us when we are at the Sligo Indoor Market @ The Canopy and arrange the best day/location to collect OR collect your filled bottles at the market if you had previously dropped your empties to be refilled.

4. We will have a number of empty clean jars, You can order a refill for collection without having to leave your empties with us first this will ensure that you can get your refill there and then at your designated collect point.  *Remember always add a note if this is the case otherwise we will take it as a ordinary pick up empties for refilling order.

6. It would be great if could drop off at unit opposite NCT without pre arragned appointment but understand the need. Also if there could be an evening or saturday afternoon collection time

The reason for a pre arranged txt is to make sure someone is there as i will be on the road a good bit and delays can happen.

For September we have a evening collection on the 29th at Quay St at 6pm and Saturday afternoon collection will be on the 12th & 26th September at the Sligo Indoor Market in the Canopy.

Please make sure to join our mailing list, here you will get a email at the start of the month with the plan for the month ahead.

7. Safe payment option

We will still be using the exact same card machine as we already use in the shop for when you come to the unit or the market. Pending on internet service when we call to the drop of points we will also be using the same card machine but Revolut is always an option and of course cash.

8. Dropping off bottles on one day and collecting them on another day may make it too much trouble than doing it all on one visit.

If you find it to much hassle dropping the bottles one day and collecting another day, then calling to the unit and getting them refilled there and then will be ideal for you.  Check the calendar for the days/times we will be there.
